Outage Team Manager

Position Summary:

The Outage Team Manager position provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure EnviroVac has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure safety, financial strength and operating efficiency for the Outages, Turnarounds, and Large Projects for the Western and Central Region’s operational goals. The position accomplishes this through a respectful, constructive and energetic style, guided by the objectives of the company. Daily assignments will be related to oversite and coordination of all large projects of all operational personal and equipment needs in the West Region with respect to, the financials, business growth, scheduling, safety, projects and compliance within the region.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all work assignments in accordance with EnviroVac safety, quality, policies, practices, and procedures for the Western Region.
  • Provide day-to-day direct interactive leadership and management for a field-based service provider organization which mirrors the adopted mission and core values of the company. Bottom line: Build and maintain a great company.
  • Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives.
  • Act as lead "client-care officer" through visible direct field level contact of clients.
  • Motivate and lead a high-performance management team; attract, recruit and retain required members of the outage team not currently in place; provide mentoring as a cornerstone to the management career development program.
  • Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external. Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the organization.
  • Remediate any issues in a cross functional setting that may include other members of the management, third party vendors and customers.
  • Assist, as required, in raising additional capital at appropriate valuations to enable EnviroVac to meet sales, growth, and market share objectives.
  • Demonstrate capability and aptitude to learn various duties associated with OTM, West Region position.
  • Flexible and able to multitask; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems.
  • Participate in proactive continuous improvement initiatives to improve the safety, profitability, quality and productivity of operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial planning

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION

  • Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent from a four-year college or University; or equivalent related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience related to Industrial Cleaning, Management, Business or Related Field
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write in depth correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers, vendors, and other employees of the organization. 
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.  Ability to operate and understand using both SAE units of measure.
  • Computer: Ability to use basic computer programs. MS suite, Outlook, Liquid Frameworks and other operating and scheduling systems preferred.
  • Progression: Ability to show progress towards attaining skills in the fore mentioned para 2.0 Duties and Responsibilities.

The employee is regularly required to stand and sit and frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, and use their hands and arms. They may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee not regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Hearing and eye protection may be recommended and/or required in some areas. Travel may be required and would be estimated around 40%.
